Individual articles in The Orff Echo from 1993-present can be searched by author, subject, and key words in the AOSA Resource Library. Library entries for Echo prior to 1993 are for complete issues rather than individual articles. (Note: Issues from 1993-present have been uploaded to the library. Issues prior to 1993 will be added soon.) While author/subject headings are included in the library for older issues, the indices on this page will futher help researchers to locate articles by content. Once an article of interest has been located, it can be accessed in the library through the following steps:

  • Open the AOSA Resource Library
  • Select The Orff Echo as the "Resource Type"
  • To locate a specific issue choose the correct year in the "Years" search box and for quarterly issues use the "Month" search box for January (Winter), April (Spring), July (Summer), or October (Fall).
  • On each Echo library entry page there is a PDF icon on the lower right that allows the user to download a digital file of the full issue.
  • Non-members may search the library and read article descriptions without log-in permission. A member password is required to open and download Echo issues.

The Orff Echo Index by Focus Topic 1994-Present Since 1994, most issues since of The Orff Echo have a focus topic around which feature articles are organized. Issues often include articles on topics other than the focus.


The following indices can be downloaded as PDF files. Please note that the subject headings in these old indices do not correspond to the headings used in the library and that many articles are cross-referenced under multiple headings.
